Integrated Skills in English 2B is a one-semester class that builds on what was learned in your first year classes and Integrated Skills in English 2A. Integrated Skills in English 2B is taught once a week and is conducted primarily in English. This class continues with student-centered, active-learning approach.

Objectives
In this class you will further improve your ability to take control of discussion on various topics connected with social issues.

You will
1) be comfortable with taking risks in your communication in English.
2) freely explain your opinions about a topic using a wider range of vocabulary before reading about or listening to it.
3) be skilled in writing paragraphs.
4) freely ask questions to classmates to gain detailed understanding of other opinions.
5) continue your communication by actively participated in discussions.

This class is devised to help provide the following:
To broaden an outlook on Nature/Human Beings/ Society
To think logically and critically
To communicate ideas
To develop a sense of Internationalization (cross-cultural communication/knowledge of foreign languages/knowledge of other peoples/knowledge of International Affairs)
履修上の注意
Course notes prerequisites
Students must earn a score of 60% or more and be in attendance for 2/3 of classes in order to pass.
Less than 2/3 attendance will result in failure regardless of the reason for the absence.
