概要 Descriptions	古典および近年出版された建築の書籍を題材に、現代的かつグローバルな視点から論考分析を行い、これからの建築の方向を探ります。そして、グローバルな建築シーンに日本の現代建築がどのように位置付けることができるのか、その可能性について検討を行います。 Using classical and recently published books on architecture as our subject matter, we will analyze them from a contemporary and global perspective to explore the direction of architecture in the future. We will also examine the possibilities of how contemporary Japanese architecture can be positioned in the global architectural scene.
目的 Objectives	建築理論と建築実践の相互関係を講究します。現代の建築設計手法について理解を深め、各自が、グローバルな建築観を持つことを目的としています。 Students will study the interrelationship between architectural theory and practice. The aim of the course is to deepen students' understanding of contemporary architectural design methods and to give them a global perspective on architecture.
到達目標 Outcomes	近年、出版された新しい建築理論に関する著作、古典の著作を精読して、現代建築の動向に当て嵌めつつ、各自の建築家としての専門的な識見を高めることを目標とします。 The goal of this course is to improve the professional knowledge of each student as candidates to architects by carefully reading recently published works on new architectural theories and classic works and applying them to the trends of contemporary architecture.
